Libraries will be closed on Poya-days.
Rules for borrowing books
1. Staff members
– One academic staff member can borrow seven books and he/she can retain it for a period of one mount.
– A reminder will be sent by the library for overdue books.
– A non-academic staff member can borrow can two books for period of two weeks.
2. Undergraduates
– Library facilities can be provided after activation of the student’s identity card to the library system and activated identity card is required for borrowing books from the library.
– Students are allowed to borrow two books as follows;
- One lending book
2. One reference book
– A lending book is issued for a period of two weeks and a reference book for an overnight. Reference books are issued after 3.00pm and should be returned before 12 noon of the following day
Fine
A fine will be charged, if the book is not returned on or before the date.
For reference books – Rs.10 per day
For lending books – Rs.5 per day
