University registered medical students.
Permanent executive staff members of the faculty.
Non-academic staff members of the faculty
Membership Registration
- Academic, non-academic staff and undergraduates are eligible for library membership.
- Academic and non-academic staff members should submit a duly completed application form and a copy of their appointment letter to the library for registration.
- Undergraduates are registered, once they receive the university record book and identity card. University identity card is required for borrowing books from the library.
General Rules and Regulations for Members
- All readers must adhere to the University and library rules and regulations.
- Readers should produce their record book or identity card to enter the library.
- Readers are not permitted to bring bags, parcels, books, umbrellas or personal belongings into the library.
- Readers are advised not to bring any large size bags or personal belongings as these items should be kept infront of the library due to security issues.
- Readers must produce their belongings such as books, notes and etc, when entering and leaving the library for security inspection.
- Reservations of library seats are not allowed.
- Discussions are not allowed inside the library and silence should be observed in all public reading and other service areas.
- Readers should switch off their cell phones while using the library.
- Smoking, using open flame and consumption of food is strictly prohibited, inside the library.
- Readers are not allowed to bring visitors inside the library, without librarian’s permission.
- Taking photographs inside the library without prior approval of the librarian is not allowed.
- All reader should avoid wearing unsuitable clothes (shorts, hats, caps) and noisy shoes when entering the library.
- All library materials and other resources should be treated and protected well.
- Misusing of books like tearing, writing on, removing chapters from books and taking books out without permission are punishable offences and such readers are liable for disciplinary actions including suspension of library privileges.
- Any disordered or improper behaviour and breach of above regulations will render the reader liable for suspension of library facilities or any disciplinary action decided by the university.
