- Completed the staff development Program for Lecturers at the Medical Education Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Sri-Lanka (August 2008 – October 2008 – spanning 3 weeks)
- Participated in the workshop on “Communication in Higher Education” held on 24th July 2008 at University of Rajarata, Mihintale, conducted by staff development centre, University of Rajarata in collaboration with Department of Agricultural Extension, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya.
- Participated in the workshop on “Effective Teaching and Learning through Constructive Alignment” held on 2nd December 2009 at the University of Rajarata, which was conducted by the Sri Lanka Association - for improving Higher Education Effectiveness (SLAIHEE).

- Organized a Dengue awareness lecture session on the 28th of June 2017 at the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Saliyapura for the staff of the Rajarata University and clinicians of the Anuradhapura Teaching hospital;
