Contribution to Undergraduate Program
The department conducts the academic program by means of lectures, tutorials, practicals, student seminars and by coordinating clinical pathology appointments at the pathology laboratory at Teaching Hospital, Anuradhapura. During the third year (fourth and fifth semesters) the students are taught general pathology. During the fourth year (sixth and seventh semesters) students are taught systemic anatomic pathology, haematology, transfusion medicine and chemical pathology.
